notary informs <strong>SAFER<\/strong> (<em>Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019Am\u00e9nagement Foncier et d\u2019\u00c9tablissement Rural<\/em>), which then has two months to exercise its right of preemption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once this period has passed, SAFER can no longer preempt, thereby lifting one of the conditions for the sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It should be noted that this timeframe may be reduced upon payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-yellow-color-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-20a5575f19ce43dc96da3012b37b7830\">Buyers: bank approval<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Timeline: 3 to 6 months<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>With the signed sales agreement, the buyer can officially present the file to the banks in order to obtain a loan offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a crucial step for buyers who require financing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, for those paying in cash, this stage is not necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-yellow-color-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6d4be482ef33d39abee40e2f9b777e39\">Buyers: operating authorization<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Timeline: 4 months<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Also following the signing of the sales agreement, the buyer must submit an application for <strong>operating authorization<\/strong> to the DDT (<em>Direction des Territoires<\/em>) of their prefecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This authorization is generally issued about four months after the application has been submitted.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">STEP 7<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-lightgreen-color-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-bd527c8ade4dd7093758dc630b5f0ab4\">Final signature<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In parallel with the administrative and banking procedures, the advisors for each party prepare the <strong>authentic deed of sale<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both parties can then meet to sign and officially conclude the transaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator
