10 years of history

The story began in the early 2000s with the brilliant idea of a handful of visionaries: to create a nationwide business dedicated exclusively to the sale and acquisition of wine estates in France.

In 2011, Marine Boudignon joined the partners to develop the Loire Valley region.
After ten years within this national network, the firm decided in 2012 to strike out independently and build its own brand.

This is how Ampelio was born.

In 2015, Marine Boudignon became the majority partner and managing director of the firm.

And in 2022, Ampelio celebrated its 10th anniversary!


10 years of transactions

Over the past ten years, Ampelio is proud to have supported the sale and acquisition of more than 55 wine estates.

Each estate is unique: its wines, its vines, its land, its history, and its owners.

Our ten years of experience now allow us to let the numbers speak for themselves and highlight some key statistics.

We have sold over 1,200 hectares of vineyards, with an average of 23 hectares per estate.

We also note that the average price of an estate, across all regions, is around €1,400,000 (excluding wine stock).

Thanks to our ten years of experience, we now have an in-depth knowledge of the entire process of transferring wine estates, the stakeholders involved and the expert partners who support it.
