A vision for each vineyard

Ampelio takes its name from the Greek ampelos, meaning “born of the vine.”

A name that perfectly reflects the heart of Ampelio’s mission: ensuring the transmission of wine estates in the Loire Valley.

The story of Ampelio began in the early 2000s, when a handful of visionaries had the bold idea of creating a business dedicated exclusively to wine estate transactions in France.

In 2011, Marine Boudignon joined the partners to strengthen the firm’s presence in the Loire Valley.

The following year, after ten years within a national network, the firm chose independence and launched its own identity. That was the birth of Ampelio.

Our expertise in the Loire region was a natural choice: highlighting its diverse terroirs, its proximity to Paris, its wealth of wines, its cultural heritage, and its unique art of living.

Stretching over nearly 900 kilometers, the Loire Valley offers a vast scope for opportunity. Our deep knowledge of its vineyards allows us to respond to each client’s needs with precision.

Above all, we hold deep respect for the men and women who work the land every day.

The Ampelio team is driven by passion, passion for the Loire Valley, for its history, for its rich mosaic of terroirs, and of course, for its wines.
