Transferringyour wine estate
Retirement, market conditions, or life’s unexpected events — the first step is to understand what drives you or compels you to make the decision to sell your wine estate.
Our team carries out a comprehensive valuation of the estate, both patrimonial and economic, in order to establish a fair transfer price. As a regulated profession, we are required to sign a sales mandate to carry out our work.
Throughout the sales process, we act as the sellers’ trusted point of contact, introducing them to qualified buyers capable of making an offer. We support them right through to the final signing, coordinating our efforts with those of their advisors.

The most common questions from our clients about estate transmission
How long does it take to sell a wine estate?
On average, the sale of a wine estate takes around 18 months from the time it is put on the market. This period includes the search for the right buyer, as well as the necessary administrative, financial, and legal procedures.
It is also important to allow time for the assessment and valuation of the estate before the sale begins.
We have overseen transactions completed in just 6 months, while others have taken up to 6 years.
How do you find potential buyers?
For more than 10 years, we have built a database of serious buyers through our website, our LinkedIn pages, and our professional network — not to mention the many clients who recommend us!
We place great importance on having personalized discussions with each candidate in order to assess the strength and credibility of their acquisition project.
In addition to this established network, we can also carry out targeted prospecting actions to identify potential buyers who match the specific characteristics of each wine estate.
Do you work with notaries and accountants specialized in wine estate transactions?
Thanks to our experience and strong roots in the Loire Valley, we have built a solid network of specialized professionals in each department: lawyers, notaries, accountants, land experts, banking advisors, and brokers.
We work with them regularly on wine estate transactions, which enables us to ensure smooth communication and secure support at every stage.
Depending on your needs, we can guide you toward the most suitable experts, based on their region and field of specialization.
What documents are required to sell my wine estate?
We will ask you to provide key documents relating to your business: production details (vineyard plots, harvest records, certifications, etc.), information on buildings, accounting records, commercial aspects, as well as social and legal documents (bylaws, property deeds, operating permits, etc.).
Once the legal process is underway, the notary and/or lawyers will request additional documents, such as mandatory diagnostics, purchase deeds, and other administrative records required to finalize the transaction.
